About the Artist
Emma Evangeline Gustafson, is an artist and illustrator who is passionate about painting intricate scenes of our natural world. For the last 3 years she's been based on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.
Through her paintings I hope to cultivate feelings of peace, stillness and gratitude for nature. she wants her work to inspire people to connect more with nature and appreciate our incredible backyard. she says 'I think it's important to remember that everything in our world is so much more connected than we realise and I try to highlight this in my work through hidden metaphysical elements'.
Emma has kindly donated two of her prints to Coro youth mentors to raise funds to help us continue to support our Tamariki and Rangatahi through mentorship.
